Financials
Open Doors takes seriously our responsibility to be faithful stewards of the donations given to support persecuted Christians around the world. We strive to maintain integrity and openness in our financial practices in alignment with sound, biblical principles.
As part of our deep commitment to Christian integrity, Open Doors also:
Maintains membership with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), aligning our internal processes with their required standards and recommended practices.
Seeks to respond quickly and openly to donation-related inquiries sent to our donor services team at info@opendoorsus.org.
Live by a statement of faith and Core Values that define our Christian faith and the ways we live out those Christian convictions in the world.
Submits to oversight of a wise, Christ-following Board of Directors
Maintains policies to safeguard the way money is received, recorded, receipted, distributed and reported in a way that honors donor intent. This includes: 1) Ensuring financial duties are segregated to reduce fraud and error; 2) And undergoing annual audits from an independent, third-party firm.
Uses only clear, straightforward fund-raising practices that respect the privacy of our supporters by never selling, leasing or renting our donors’ contact information.
